Food Business Specialist | Incubation Coordinator
We are hiring a Food Business Specialist and an Incubation Coordinator! The Food Business Specialist will play a key support role in coaching for our food businesses as well as offering industry specific training for food businesses and supporting with a few advocacy projects related to our food policy and home cooking initiatives. The Incubation Coordinator is a position we built into the programs budget this year to increase our capacity to incubate businesses from all three sectors (food, product, and service), with a hands-on approach; commercial kitchen coordination, supporting with access to markets opportunities like pop-ups and farmer’s markets, and taking over the enrollment of clients into the business directory as well as supporting with a host of other projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
Both of these positions will be 40 hour/week positions, working out of our Seattle office at the 2100 Building, and will expand our capacity to service our small business owners in more intentional and high-touch ways. We’re looking for people who are passionate about the Ventures mission, speak Spanish, can bring valuable skills around small business, are eager to innovate, and have a lot of grit and enthusiasm for entrepreneurship.
